Laine Mitchell, MBA, SHRM-SCP

Founder and CEO
Laine Mitchell is the founder of More Than HR, which successfully transitioned from Eskin Business Solutions, in Southwest Florida. She has more than 15 years of accounting, human resources, and safety experience that she brings to organizations. Her diverse range of expertise encompasses employee relations, compliance, recruitment, benefits administration, compensation, training, and payroll. She has an extensive background in numerous industries including retail, property management, construction, hospitality, country clubs, and publishing. She holds her SHRM-SCP certification and is active in the local SHRM chapter, SHRM SWFL, sitting on the Board of Directors as the Director of Diversity. Having worked with companies at all stages of the business cycle, Carol is focused on giving stakeholders what is needed for their businesses to thrive. Whether it's a small startup or a multi-million dollar entity, she has handled the bookkeeping and tax work for every type of entity from LLCs to non-profits and everything in between, though she has a particular fondness for non-profit work.
